A light, calming and inviting interior was designed for MJ House, a private apartment in Amman. A warm, neutral material palette is used throughout the apartment, with different types of wood and natural stone. Bespoke furniture was designed for each area in the apartment such as the coffee tables, armchairs, the bed, side tables in bedroom, and the tv unit. The kitchen features super matte taupe cabinets contrasted with light wood and Corian counter tops. The coffee tables were made out of natural Jordanian stone with a honed stone finish with wooden legs covered in wood veneer.

bedroom
The bedroom’s design was inspired from beach resorts and out of the country getaways, so that the couple could feel comfortable and relaxed . With warm ash woods, touches of rattan and textiles such as Linen,The room is very meditative and earthy. The sliding door to the walk in closet is bespoke and the materials used were rattan and oak wood.

Fireplace
To complete a cozy new home, having a real wood fireplace in the living room can create an atmosphere that doesnt exist anywhere. Travertine stone was used for the Base of the Fireplace and a steel framed fireplace is placed between plaster and travertine. The fireplace separates the formal living from the TV room.
