Al Atta

Residence.

Al Atta residence was a renovation project of an old apartment in the area of Al Rabieh in Amman, Jordan. A family of three, having to re-design eight spaces: The kitchen, formal living room, living room, master bedroom, boys bedroom, Two Master bathrooms and the guest toilet.

The family liked an earthy, warm and toned down vibe for their home, so Travertine and warm wood finishes were used in the kitchen design as shown in the mood board.

Al Atta Family owns a house in Bali, Indonesia that they visit in the fall time of each year, They wanted to feel that they are still in their beach getaway in the cold season so incorporating materials such as rattan which is common in Bali since it has become a hub for rattan furniture production. This was a nice way of warming up the place and avoiding the winter blues..

It was added to each side of solid oak wood doors in the apartment, and found throughout in furniture pieces and accessories.

While designing the boys bedroom, the parents wanted something timeless, and he liked the color green very much, so incorporating hues of green was important. The bed wall had a pistachio green limewash finish with unique side tables and lighting on each side.
